The Lost Broadcasts by U2 is a collection of rare and previously unreleased recordings from the band's early years. The album features live performances, studio sessions, and interviews from the period between 1979 and 1983, when the band was still relatively unknown.
The album opens with a raw and energetic version of "Out of Control," recorded live in Dublin in 1981. This sets the tone for the rest of the album, which is full of passionate and powerful performances from the band. The album also includes early versions of some of U2's most iconic songs, such as "I Will Follow" and "Sunday Bloody Sunday."
One of the highlights of the album is a live performance of "Gloria" from a 1981 concert in Paris. The band's energy and enthusiasm are palpable, and Bono's vocals are particularly impressive. The album also includes some interesting interviews with the band members, in which they discuss their influences and the creative process behind their music.
